Keeping your SeirenHD A2B interface up to date is essential for proper operation, sound quality, and long-term reliability.
This guide will help you determine which update method(s) you need to use—whether it’s the 12-18-24 Updater, the DFU website, or the USB radio update method.
Before moving to the sections below, we recommend going through the SeirenHD A2B Setup Guide to get the best sound from your system!

Before you begin any update, you need to check which firmware version your SeirenHD A2B module is currently running. This determines which steps you need to follow—and whether you’ll need to remove the A2B module and connect it to a computer.
How to check your version on the Skyline OS radio:
1. Go to Settings
2. Select Audio
3. Tap Speaker Setup
4. On the first page, you’ll see “Volunteer Audio powered by SeirenHD”
5. Tap the More Info button
6. Your current firmware version and date will be displayed

What Your Version Means:

• You must remove the A2B module from the bike
• Connect it to a computer
• Complete both Step 1 (12-18-24 Updater) and Step 2 (DFU Website)

• You must still remove the A2B module
• Connect to a computer and complete Step 2 (DFU Website)

• You can skip Steps 1 and 2
• Proceed directly to Step 3 (USB update)
• This update is performed through the Skyline OS factory USB port — no need to access the A2B module itself

If your firmware is dated 12-18-2024 or earlier, you must run the 12-18-24 Updater using a PC. This step prepares your module to work with the DFU update system.

You must run the 12-18-24 Updater if:
• Your A2B module has never been updated
• Your firmware is 12-18-2024 or earlier
• The DFU site says “Fully Up to Date” but shows no programming options

After this update is complete, proceed to Step 2.

(Requires USB-C connection from A2B module to PC)
Once the 12-18-24 update is done, connect your module to your computer and visit the DFU website to install the latest firmware.

Use the DFU website if:
• Your current version is newer than 12-18-24 but still older than 1.3.8 (February 2025)
Firmware Selection:
• Using Hertz speakers? → Choose “Hertz”
• Using Velocity speakers? → Choose “Velocity”
• Using a custom DSP tune? → Choose “A2BEQ”
Selecting the correct version applies optimized DSP settings for your speaker setup, ensuring the best performance and protecting your system.

If your firmware is version 1.3.8 (February 2025) or newer, you can update your A2B module directly through the Skyline OS factory USB port—no need to remove the fairing or access the module.
Use the USB update if:
• You’ve already completed both the 12-18-24 and DFU updates (if required)
• You are applying a newer firmware release after February 2025
• You want to update without removing the A2B module
How to update via USB:
1. Download the correct file to a USB flash drive
2. Insert the drive into the Skyline OS factory USB port (not the A2B module)
3. Turn the ignition to accessory mode
4. Follow the on-screen prompts
5. Once complete, turn off the bike and remove the USB drive
Available USB Update Files:
- Download the Hertz Tune
- Download the Extreme Audio EX Tune
- Download the Extreme Audio SS Tune
- Download the Velocity Coax Horn Tune
- Download the Velocity Overdrive Tune
