These issues are something we hear ALL the time at Volunteer Audio, so we have partnered with Hertz to give you a sound experience you will be blown away with.
The Electraglide Standard bikes already have the wiring needed to install the aftermarket stereo you have been looking for. We have put together a package that comes with all parts you need to add a radio and speakers to your bike.
This package also comes with factory USB port, antenna, and antenna adapter.
If you are adding thumb controls as well this package comes with the module to retain dealer purchased thumb controls.
The Volunteer Audio Stage 2 kit includes the Hertz HMP4D amplifier and 1 set of Hertz 6.5″ SX165NEO speakers to mount into your front fairing factory speaker locations. This combination is a perfect match for the environment of your Harley Davidson. The HMP4D amplifier is a compact amplifier that is IP64 rated so you do not have to worry about moisture, these Hertz speakers also have weather-resistant cones that will stand up to any moisture that comes their way. So you no longer have to worry about getting caught in the rain. It is a complete plug and play unit absolutely no hardwiring required.
When we send out this Stage 2 package, the amplifier is pre-wired to plug into your radio. We have the amp gains already set to the maximum setting for loudness WITHOUT distortion of the speakers. We do not want any trouble with blown speakers you’ve had enough of that already, so our goal is to get the most sound out of the speakers clearly. Once you plug into the radio, the power and ground wires that are attached to the amp will have to be ran to the battery and connected, you will also install the fuse in the fuse block that is included in the wiring.
