The Electra Glide Standards have all radio wiring needed already in the bike so you don’t have to buy extra radio wiring. By choosing your radio this will make sure that you get the correct install parts, you will get police bike wiring(for police bikes only) a factory USB in order to use CarPlay or Android Auto, antenna, and front speaker pod harnessing in order to connect your new speakers.

In this package builder all the items are hand picked by Volunteer Audio to sound great and to last with motorcycle use. They are all made to withstand the abuse they will get from the vibration and elements. You do not have to worry about making the wrong choice, each speaker option is the best at its price point.

If you choose to run the speakers on radio power they will be much louder than a stock Harley audio system. If you want your system to be heard over your friends systems and to be louder than the wind or engine at highway speeds we recommend adding an amplifier.

With this package you will need to purchase thumb controls from your Harley Dealer.  Swap your existing Police controls with thumb controls from a non police bike to have control of your radio from your handle bars.

When you purchase from Volunteer Audio, we take several steps to ensure you get the best possible sound from your rear speakers:

• Proper Speaker Placement: When installing 6×9” speakers, we use specially designed cut-in kits that position the speaker higher in the lid. This saves space in your bag while angling the speaker toward you for better sound clarity. Most replacement lids don’t provide this benefit.
• Ample Power for Rear Speakers: We make sure the rear speakers are powered correctly so they’re loud enough to be heard even when positioned behind you.
• Customized Amplifier Settings: When using a factory radio, flashing it can cause the loss of fader control. We account for this by slightly adjusting the amplifier's settings to ensure the sound fades toward the rear.
• Balanced Sound: The rear speakers won’t overpower the front ones. The front speakers point directly at you, naturally being louder, but the rear speakers surround you with fuller sound. This creates a concert-like experience and adds rich mid-bass, completing your soundscape.

Plug-n-Play Installation

Installation of WHD14+ couldn’t be easier. Simply connect the OEM head unit wire harness to a secondary harness provided. No splicing of OEM wires required! Additionally, WHD14+ utilizes the OEM radio antenna cable & USB media port cable. Simply connect the antenna & USB cables to corresponding sockets. Making installation even easier, WHD14+ needs only the bracket(s) & mounting hardware used with the OEM head unit. The faceplate of WHD14+ maintains styling of the OEM head unit, without the need of ugly trim kits.

Handlebar Integration Module Ready

Keep your hands on the handlebars and eyes on the road. With a little help from a handlebar integration module, key functions of WHD14+ like volume level, track playback, & phone call operations can be performed with the OEM handlebar controls.
