Important Wiring Harness Information

The included Harley-Davidson harness is intended for a 4-speaker system consisting of two upper fairing speakers and two lower fairing speakers. The harness connects the lower speakers to the factory rear-speaker output located in the fairing.

If your bike already has rear/Tour-Pak speakers, do not use the included Harley-Davidson harness unless you intend to disconnect those rear speakers. This applies to models such as the Road Glide Limited, Street Glide Limited, and Street Glide 3. Using the included harness for the lowers occupies the rear-speaker connection and will disconnect the existing rear speakers.

For these applications, use the Volunteer Audio LFH22 Lower Fairing Harness. The LFH22 ties the lower speakers into the upper/front speaker channels while allowing the rear speakers to remain operational.

The LFH22 configuration requires compatible 4-ohm speakers. Harley-Davidson’s factory 2-ohm speaker configuration is designed around four speakers total. Volunteer Audio’s 4-ohm systems allow additional speakers to be configured across the amplifier channels.
