Our solution allows you to keep your factory radio or Soundstream Reserve radio while upgrading your sound system to deliver crystal-clear audio at highway speeds. If you're keeping your factory radio, a quick flash is required to unlock the full potential of your new amplifier and speakers, allowing you to crank the volume and enjoy distortion-free music—even at 100 mph! This radio flash is not necessary if you're using a Soundstream Reserve radio, so you can skip that step entirely.

The Stage 2 Amplifier and Speaker System provides everything you need for a premium audio upgrade. It features a prewired amplifier, expertly matched to your system, along with a pair of high-quality speakers designed specifically for your front fairing speaker locations. This setup is built to thrive in the unique conditions of your Harley-Davidson. The compact amplifier is IP64-rated for moisture protection, while the Hertz speakers boast weather-resistant cones, ensuring they stand up to the elements with ease.

• Prewired Amplifier: Your choice of a prewired amplifier with gains and filters adjusted perfectly for your factory GT/GTS or Soundstream Reserve radio.
• Hertz SX165NEO 6.5” Upper Fairing Speakers: Premium speakers designed to fit perfectly into your bike's upper fairing, ensuring optimal sound performance for clear, rich audio.

Optional Add-ons:

• Techno Research Radio Flash Tool: An essential tool to flash your factory radio, unlocking the full potential of your amplifier and speakers. (Only needed if you are keeping your factory radio and do not have a SoundStream Reserve radio)
• Upper Fairing Metal Mesh Speaker Grilles: High-quality speaker grilles designed to protect your speakers while maintaining the sleek, stylish look of your bike.

Easy Installation and Support

At Volunteer Audio, we do the heavy lifting for you. We make upgrading your bike’s sound system as easy as possible by doing all the prep work on our end. When you receive your kit, it’ll be as close to “plug-and-play” as possible—ready to install right out of the box. We’ll set the amplifier’s gains and filters, so you don’t need to worry about technical adjustments. All you’ll need to do is mount the amplifier with the included hardware, run the wiring to the seat and battery, and install the speakers. Plus, we provide step-by-step video tutorials and lifetime tech support on all purchases.

Hertz / Cicada Audio Subwoofer Kit

Introducing the Hertz / Cicada Audio Add-On Subwoofer Kit—your new add-on bass solution built for our plug-and-play Hertz SP4.900 2-speaker and 4-speaker kits.

This ported and braced dual-10" subwoofer kit transforms your saddlebags into true bass enclosures using the included cut-in template. The 10" subs mount directly into the bag itself, delivering the deep, low-frequency punch your 6×9 speakers can’t reach.

Kit includes disconnect harness to still allow for easy removal of saddlebag.

⚠️ Important Note:

This subwoofer kit is compatible only with our existing plug-and-play Hertz SP4.900 2-speaker and 4-speaker kits when running from a single amplifier.
If your bike is equipped with a 6-speaker or 8-speaker kit, subs cannot be added to the same amp. 

This kit is also not compatible with Harley-Davidson CVO models or CVO saddlebag lids. Any saddlebag lid that was changed from a 5x7 to 6x9 or has 6x9 to 8" adapters will also not work.
