Paper remains an excellent speaker-cone material because of its low mass, rigidity and natural sound characteristics—but conventional untreated paper isn’t suitable for an exposed motorcycle environment.
The RCN69 uses a high-stiffness pressed-paper cone specially treated for water and humidity resistance along with protection against UV exposure.
